A state of affairs

Who’s at fault? The federal government blames the
states. The state governments, blame Canberra, the
public blames both. So where does the blame lie? I
suggest the answer lies in the mirror.
“No worries, she’ll be right, don’t you worry about
that”. The words of apathy, it’s not bitting me on the
bum, so why should I care?
Well maybe the time has come, maybe we all should
care. The worlds population is growing, third world
countries are catching up and they wont their share.

People from all parts of the globe built this country
with their bare hands. No roads, no electricity, no
dole, no child allowance, just you and your
neighbour. We pride ourselves on our FREEDOM
and DEMOCRACY, that was once upon a time.

Do you really think we have or practice either?

It’s about time we told  our democratically elected
representatives, what we want, what we need, why
we elected them. What is required is action, not
whingeing.

John, the name of the game is divide and rule. Check it out, it is in the handbooks of all party politicians, as is continually being refined by the Fabian Socialist’s in all tiers of our dictatorial governments.

Marx and Engel actually printed it in a booklet. Refer to their ‘Communist Manifesto”

    And, hey, it works!

Certainly you can look in your mirror and see the cause, but in defence of the “No worries, she’ll be right” majority of our community the blame for this ‘apathy’ MUST be placed securely in the hands of those who control the media and our government, currently based in Brussels, The City, Wall Street, (who knows) and echoed by minions such as the Fraser Coast Chronicle.

Freedom and Democracy – certainly once upon a time, but by now long gone.

A total waste of time telling our ‘representatives’ what we want: they have been ignoring us as inconvenient garbage for many years.

As an example how about Andy representing his electorate on the Traveston Dam issue?

In reality, unless we turf this lot of the useless snout in the trough opportunists out and replace them with people who are prepared to represent the wishes of their constituents we have no chance of any democracy!

AUstin, as a matter of fact I have been to more countries than most I believe. That’s why I don’t want us to join them. As to Zimbabwe, they have just had an election with, we are told, only one candidate.
If Labor fails to stand a candidate in Mayo? We will have an electorate forced by legistlation to vote for one candidate. Sound familiar?
